First Look at the Nikon Travelite 10×25 Binoculars
For many of us, bird watching is but one part of the many outdoor experiences we enjoy. Whether we are canoeing, fishing or hiking we need a quality set of binoculars ready to go. They must have high image quality, durability and be easy to tote with all our gear. The Nikon Travelite 10×25 binoculars excels in all departments.
Focus on Features
The view is excellent through this model. Nikon is renowned the world over for their camera lens optics. They’ve employed them in the lens components found here. Aspherical lenses minimize distortion and color aberration, and deliver crystal clear, razor-sharp images. Even when your object is on the wing. High-tech lens coatings make for bright colors even in reduced light situations. The resin body reinforced with carbon fiber means they’re durable. The rubberized armor provides extra shock-resistant protection. That armor also makes for excellent grip in cold or wet conditions.
The Big Picture
The Nikon Travelite 10×25 Binoculars are a quality set of go-anywhere field glasses. Their compact size and light weight makes them easy to carry when you also have fishing, hunting, rock-climbing, or boating gear in tow. The low price will free you from worrying about them, and their durable construction means they don’t need pampering anyway. When you do put them to your eyes, you’ll experience great visual performance with easy focusing characteristics. Also, a size and weight that won’t create fatigue. A bonus is that their compact size and weight makes them a great choice for the youth adventurer, too.

Do you prefer the 8 or 12 magnification??
Jeff says
Hi Craig,
My go-to binocs are 8 magnification but I use mine primarily around our yard identifying visiting birds. No wide open space viewing like a birding club. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
Enjoy whichever you decide on!
